Not only is your child a part of our playgroup – so are you! Parents and carers play an important role in the success of the playgroup and their child’s education.

Committee membership: As previously stated, a large proportion of the voluntary committee is made up of parents of playgroup children. We welcome anyone who wants to join as a member or just attend meetings to offer suggestions, raise any questions or observe.

Parents/Carers’ Rota: We invite parents, or carers, into the playgroup once a term on a rota basis to help for the morning (or afternoon) session. There are no skills required that you do not already possess in abundance! Previous parents and carers have expressed just how enjoyable this has been to see their child play and learn.

Fund-raising: As a registered charity (no. 1025259) we rely on fund-raising to help with the running costs of the playgroup. Parental involvement may be in the form of helping on a stall, donating a cake or prize or, most importantly, simply attending our events with friends and family. You can see the type of fundraising events we have held recently on our Facebook page.
